Sherri:

• Knitting on Breathing Space by Veera Valimaki out of Primrose Yarn Co. Adelaide Singles. Sherri's Breathing Space  

Tamara:

• Just cast on another Hot Chocolate Hat. She has decided this is no longer a simple knitting jag and instead a concerted campaign. She loves this hat and pattern! But it hasn't gotten all that much love from knitters. So she's working on way to show it to more knitters like better pics and trying to figure out how to make an Instagram Reel. 

Swatch: Tiny Circular Needles - Knitter's Pride Dreamz and Knitter's Pride Zing

In this Swatch, Sherri and Tamara talk test out some tiny circular needles - Knitter's Pride Dreamz (wooden tips, 10") and Knitter's Pride Zing (metal tips, 9"). They both love the company and their story - Knitter's Pride employs and supports 1,700+ workers. They are located in Jaipur, India and also run a school. The needles are beautiful and cute and well made with flexible joins and flexible cords and a nice needle taper. They work perfectly and do exactly what they should. Tamara was hoping they would be a perfect replacement for using dpns for tiny baby hats. And actually tested them on a boot cuff. Sherri decided they are perfect for knitting sleeves as they taper down. Tamara did find that the her finger muscle memory just wouldn't get on board while knitting with them. She's going to keep trying them and figures her fingers will get on board eventually.

That's Entertainment (what we're watching, reading, eating and playing while we knit)

Sherri:

• Listening to the Prancing Pony Podcast about The Hobbit and soon The Lord of the Rings books. She had a listener stop her in the wild to say thank you for mentioning this podcast and that was pretty great.  

Tamara:

• Watching The Nevers on HBO Max. This is a science fiction drama series created by Joss Whedon. The first season is 12 episodes with 6 already out and 6 more coming in 2022 due to pandimic-y things. Set in Victorian London and follows a group of people, mostly women, known as the Touched. Tamara particularly likes the Amalia True character due to all the swearing and being pretty brutal in a fight. 
• Found a tasty Crockpot Mac-N-Cheese recipe. She skipped the eggs because...yuck. Otherwise, she did pretty much exactly what the recipe says and it was tasty! More than good enough to send with a teen to an event. Every adult and teen in the house approved.
