Sherri:

• No knitting. It's been too hot to knit. She's been playing Sims 4 Island Living instead. It's too hot for them to knit too. 
• Fantasy Knitting the Monet Mitts by Elizabeth Cobble. 

Tamara:

• Working on a new top down fingering weight sweater design in a muted turquoise color. 

Swatch: Review of ChiaGoo circular knitting needles

Sherri and Tamara take a few minutes to record a short Swatch Episode. As we round into a new year and are still under lockdown, we'll be adding some of these shorter Swatches in between our longer normal episodes.  

In this Swatch, Sherri and Tamara review ChiaGoo circular needles. Tamara tested a fixed circular and Sherri tested interchangeable circulars. They took a little time to discuss why these needles are special, the needle tips, the circular needle joins and cables, the price point and other information they found while researching the needles.

• She found the grill!! It's bigger than she remember and she's already used it once. World Market Black Metal and Wood Portable Charcoal Barbecue Grill 
• Finally able to play board games again! Played The Isle of Cats is a competitive, medium-weight, card-drafting, polyomino cat-placement board game for 1-4 players. Knitability: 5. 

Tamara:

• In the middle of moving. 
• Made time anyway for outdoor music concerts in the evenings! It is wonderful to go in person again. Even in hot and muggy evenings. Manhattan Municipal Band
