Swatch: Review of Retrosario yarn Mungo
Sherri and Tamara take a few minutes to record a short Swatch Episode. As we round into a new year and are still under lockdown, we'll be adding some of these shorter Swatches in between our longer normal episodes.
In this Swatch, Sherri and Tamara review the Retrosario recycled yarn Mungo. This yarn is made from pre-consumer waste in spinning mills out of locally sourced wool and cotton. They took a little time to discuss how it knits up on different types of needles, how it handles cables, lace and texture, their impressions of the yarn and it's price point. They both found they liked it quite a bit for basic stockinette stitch. Sherri found it really softened up after washing into a fabric she'd love for a sweater.

That's Entertainment (what we're watching, reading, eating and playing while we knit)
Tamara:
- Found a qigong teacher and has started her training! She's now got something like 45 books read and write reports, plus an anatomy course and lots of other bits. The first book she read for this is Yojokun: Life Lessons from a Samurai written by Kaibara Ekiken (a samurai doctor) in the form of 414 short lessons over 300 years ago.
- Tees!!! It is getting warmer and she's so happy to be able to wear all of her tees again.
